Healthy function of kidneys and urinary tract plays an important role in the maintenance of other body functions. Renal stones (calculus or lithiasis) are a common issue within the urinary tract, occurring more frequently in men than women. Urinary calculi are stone-like formations composed of urinary salts bound together by a colloid mixture of organic materials, consisting of a nucleus surrounded by concentric layers of urinary salts. The pathogenesis of calculi involves all three biological humors (doshas): Vata (air), Pitta (fire), and Kapha (water). These stones can resemble a mulberry oxalate stone, a smooth three-layered uric acid stone, or a soft phosphatic stone. When passing through the urinary tract, they can obstruct urine flow and cause pain along the tract, affecting the perineum, phallus, and hypo gastric region, and splitting the urine stream.

Several natural herbs can help clear urinary tract infections and facilitate the disintegration and expulsion of urinary stones. These herbs can potentially prevent the need for surgery and reduce the recurrence of urinary infections. Regular use of these herbs keeps the kidneys flushed due to their gentle diuretic properties, particularly beneficial for those prone to burning micturition, frequent urinary tract infections, or stone formation. These herbs break down the calculi, which are then gradually eliminated through urination.

Anxiety and stress are common elements of contemporary life, impacting millions of people worldwide. Though often linked, they differ in their nature and effects. Stress generally arises from external pressures, which can be short-term, like a work deadline, or long-term, such as ongoing financial issues. It presents with symptoms such as irritability, fatigue, headaches, and muscle tension. Conversely, anxiety is a continuous, internal state of worry or fear, frequently out of proportion to the actual danger. It can cause restlessness, difficulty concentrating, and sleep problems. Both anxiety and stress trigger the body’s fight-or-flight response, releasing hormones like adrenaline and cortical. While this response is essential for survival, prolonged activation can result in negative health outcomes, including cardiovascular issues, weakened immune function, and mental health disorders such as depression.

Herbs have been used for ages to alleviate anxiety and stress, offering natural alternatives or supplements to traditional treatments.
