Yograj Guggulu is a combination of many Ayurvedic herbs and Guggulu, which are traditionally used in Ayurveda for old and high Vata (Air) related conditions of the joints and muscles (Rheumatoid Arthritis). It helps to maintain healthy metabolism and remove toxins from the system. It rejuvenates and strengthens the skeletal and neuromuscular systems. Other uses are stiffness and painful Thigh, Osteoporosis, Bone Density, Gout (Vata Rakta), Nervous Problems, Epilepsy, Cardiac Lesions, Anemia, Tumor, Pain in chest etc. Yograj Guggulu is an ancient traditional formula to reduce excess Vata in the system. When the vata gets accumulated in the joints and muscles, the joints and muscles start cracking or popping and the body experiences tics, spasms or tremors. In such condition Yograj Guggulu is helpful.

Chronic accumulation may lead to serious conditions as rheumatism and arthritis. In Vata-type arthritis, the joints may feel cold to the touch and may or may not be swollen; they may be dry and painful. Yograj Guggulu contains detoxifying herbs, including Triphala, Chitrak and vidanga, which work along with Guggulu to remove excess Vata from the joints as well as the nerves and muscle. Yograj Guggulu being a purifying and rejuvenating compound may categorically help as anti-inflammatory in formaldehyde-induced arthritis and in croton oil granuloma according to the practitioners.

Yograj-Guggulu is a widely used Ayurvedic formulation. This formulation is used in conditions like Arthritis, Myalgia and Hyperlipidemia. Yograj-Guggulu is a commonly used formulation. A large dose of 12 gm/day has been prescribed in ancient Ayurvedic texts. Yograj Guggulu helps remove toxins which can lead to Obesity, Joint Pain, Arthritic Conditions, Muscle Aches, and Rheumatism. It was traditionally used as a remedy for gout. It reduces Vata and Kapha doshas and is an effective adjunct to weight loss along with proper exercise and diet.

According to ancient Ayurveda, Yograj Guggulu may be extremely beneficial in improving the immunity of the body. Yograj Guggulu is one of the most valued botanical compounds of Ayurveda. It is nervine tonic and also a great enhancer of fibrous tissue. The fibrous tissues are spread in our body especially spread like a net in vital parts of the body. Reproductive system of female is covered with these tissues, so this Guggulu checks all problems (i.e. menstrual disorders), make ready for reproduction. This Guggulu is natural anti-Helminthiasis/worm infestation. Being a natural anti-biotic, it is also a natural anti-Helminthiasis.

Gouts (Vata-Rakta) This Yograj Guggulu should be used with "Guduchi" powder (3 to 6 gms) decoction or with lukewarm water.

Note: How to make decoction - Take 3 to 6 gms powder of Guduchi and add water 16 times to the powder according to dose (e.g. 1 gm powder - 16 ml water). Put the same in a pot and boil it in medium heat. When it remains 1/4th of the total quantity then keep it for cooling. After straining, take it with Yograj Guggulu.

Don't keep this decoction for more than 10 to 15 min or Do not let it too cold.

Avoid high protein diet - Pulses, Black Gram, All Meats, Sea Foods, Acidic/Salty Food, Cane Food, Plain Egg/Egg Curry, Curd, Alcohol, Plain/Fried Rice, Milk, Cough Productive Products, Cold Drinks/Soft Drinks, Ice Cream, Cold Weather Jiggery.

Food to Favor

Low salt diet, Green Leafy vegetables, Wheat, Green Gram Soup, Bitter Gourd, Bottle Gourd, Fenugreek Leaves, Ridge Gourd, Snake Gourd, Old cereals of barley, Nivara, Sali. Soups of Pigeon Pea, lentils added with plenty of ghee are commended.

Special Note

While taking Guggulu product, one should take bath with Luke warm water. A person, who is suffering from any type of Joints Pain, should wear warm clothes. Do not take in empty stomach and when hyper acidity and gastritis are present. Avoid during pregnancy.

*****Highly vitiated Vata, without involving Pitta and Kapha, should be managed with intake of Ghee, Meat-Soups and other fat enhancing substances. Externally oils should be used for massage.
