Triphala Churna

Triphala is an Ayurvedic herbal Rasayan formula consisting of equal parts of Amalaki, Bibhitaki, Haritaki.

Triphala is considered a tridoshic rasayan having balancing and rejuvenating effects on three constitutional elements that govern human life.

Vibhitaki (Beleric Myrobalam)

Amalaki (Emblica Officinalis)

Drink one teaspoon, mixed with room temperature water.

Soak 1 tablespoon in 1 glass water overnight, keep aside the residue and use the filtered water to drink in the morning. One can wash the eyes and face with this water and for gargles. The left residue can be used to wash the hair.

For instant use boil (Use low heat temp) 1 tablespoon in 1 glass water, filter the water, let it cool to room temperature and use for cleansing the eyes and face and for gargles. Use the left out residue for hair wash.

Diet and life style to maximize benefits

• It is important to avoid building up toxins in your body in the first place.
• Avoid foods that include chemical preservatives, emulsifiers and additives of any kind.
• Try to avoid foods that are grown with pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
• Eat fresh, organic, well cooked food whenever possible.
• Avoid eating Packed, frozen, canned, fast foods as these are hard to digest and create toxins when the body can't digest them properly.
• Avoid excessive ice-cold drinks as they reduce excessive digestive fire.
• Drink Plenty of warm water through out the day to help flush out toxins.
• Eat sweet, juicy fruits daily if possible as these help cleanse the rasa (Nutrient fluid) and the bowels.
• To bed by 10 P.M. so your body can rest during its natural purification period from 10 P.M. to 2 A.M.
• Eat lighter at breakfast and supper when your digestion is not as strong.
• Save the harder to digest foods such as yogurt meats (if you are non-vegetarian) and Potatoes for the noon meal.
• Eat your meals at the same time each day.
• Eat only when you are hungry and wait a full 3 hours after a main meal before smacking. This will allow food to digest properly.
