According to Ayurveda

Maharasnadi Kwath is used in cases of acute Vatta (Air) conditions. It is used for Kamp-Vata (severe body shivers), Paralysis, acute muscular and joint pains due to high Vata (Air) (which moves from thighs to lower legs). As a carrier it increases the efficiency of other natural herbal products.

Take a cup of fresh or Luke warm water and add 1 to gm (1/10 tea spoon) Pipli Churna (Piper Longum, Long pepper)

Dissolve Pipli in water and take Maharasnadi Kwath one tablet and Yograj Guggal one tablet with that dissolve water may be beneficial in rheumatic conditions of joint and muscles.

Take a cup of fresh or Luke warm water and add one gms (1/8 tea spoon) Pipli Churna (Piper Longum, Long pepper)

Dissolve Pipli in water and take Maharasnadi Kwath one tablet and Simhanda Guggal one tablet with that dissolve water may be beneficial in Spondolysis.

Precautions

Excessive Coitus, Excessive Physical Exertion, Grief, Anger, Day Sleep, Suppression of urges, Avoid Fasting.

Food to Avoid or limit the consumption

Rough food (all pulses are rough & pungent), Cold food, Little and light food, Avoid eating of pungent things (Black Gram, Lentil - Astringent but pungent after digestion), Hot food (which is too warm to touch and also hot in potency), Heavy food (taken in too much quantity or which takes too much time to digest), Channel blocking food (Curd / Yogurt), Salty and sour edible things. Avoid high protein diet - Pulses, Black Gram, All meats, All Sea foods (all fishes, crab, shrimp, lobster etc) Acidic (Black Gram) / Salty food, Canned food, Plain Egg, Egg-Curry, Curd (Yogurt), Alcohol, Plain / Fried Rice, Milk, Pickles, Cough productive products (Milk products), Cold Drinks / Soft Drinks, Ice Cream, Cold Weather.

Food to Favor

Low salt diet, Green Vegetables (Bitter Gourd, Bottle Gourd, Ridge Gourd, Snake Gourd), Wheat, Green Gram Soup, Fenugreek Seed Powder, Carrot, Old cereals of barley, Wheat, Sali (Brownish Rice - A variety of good rice) and Meat Soup (Soups of pigeon pea if available), Lentils added with plenty of ghee are commended.

***** Highly vitiated Vatta (Air), without involving Pitta (Fire) and Kapha (Water), should be managed with intake of Ghee (in Vegetables / Soups), Meat-soups and other fat enhancing substances. 

Externally oils should be used for massage (Flexn oil, Maha Naryana Oil and Maha Vishgarba Oil). The use of unctuous substance nourishes the dried body tissues quickly and promotes strength, digestive power, corpulence and vital breath.
