Arogya means - Total health free from all diseases / to get rid of from all the diseases.

Vardhini means - To increase / To Improve

Arogyavardhini in Sanskrit means "Enhancer of Arogya"

This is a traditional Ayurvedic formula used by itself or in conjunction with herbal products/supplements.

Indications

The word Arogya means good health and Vardhini means improver. It means that the formulation, which improves good health, is known as Arogyavardhini. It is used in the imbalances of all the three Doshas (humors). It is used for Leprosy, Fever, Edema, Obesity, Jaundice and other Hepatic disorders. It is good for lack of Appetite, Indigestion & Irregular bowls, Liver disorders and Skin diseases.

According to Ayurveda

Arogyavardhini Vati promotes digestive fire (Pitta), clears body channels for the nutrients to reach to the tissues, balances fats in the body and removes toxins by improving the digestive system. It also acts as tonic to Liver, Heart, Rectum, Kidneys, Uterus and Intestines & is useful in inflammatory conditions of Intestines, Chronic fevers, Jaundice and for Water retention.

Arogyavardhini This rejuvenator helps to improve the appetite & decrease the fats from the body. It is beneficial in reducing the inflammation of Liver, Spleen, Bladder, Kidney, Uterus, Intestines, Heart etc. & also in chronic Fever, Ascitis, Jaundice and chronic renal diseases.

It flushes out the intestinal toxicity, produces Pachak Pitta (Fire) (Gastric juices) and makes the liver healthy. Thus, it is beneficial in Indigestion, Dyspepsia and in Liver disorders. Disordered functioning of endocrine glands (low or high hormonal production) leads to imbalanced growth of body and decreases the reflexes and there seems to be no pubertic changes (development of sex organs) in males or in females. In this condition, prolonged use of Arogyavardhini can be beneficial.

In Leprosy (Udumber Kustha) In early stage of leprosy, it gives good results, but not in later stage.

In this, skin becomes lacerated, dry and there is sensation loss of the affected area. The scars become red in color & look like "Cluster/Country fig. fruit" (Gullar/Udumber) and result in excessive sweating from the affected areas. In this stage, Arogyavardhini should be used with Silfina - MTL Detox.

How to use more effectively in different conditions with different carrier.

It can be used with Water, Milk or Punarnava powder (1- gm) [0.05 to 0.1 oz] [half to1 tea-spoon] decoction.

In Edema and Ascitis take with cow milk.

Enlargement of Liver with Punarnava Powder (1-3 gm) decoction

In Heart disease with Punarnava powder (1-3 gm) decoction.

Note: How to make decoction - Boil 3 to 6 gm [1 tea-spoon to 1½ tea-spoon] Guduchi powder with 16 times of water according to the dose (e.g. for 1 gm powder take 16 ml of water). Keep it for cooling after it remains to 1/4 ^th of the total quantity. After straining, take it with Arogyavardhini Vati. Don't keep this decoction for more than 10 to 15 minutes

To Avoid

Avoid during pregnancy, lactation period, Thirst (craving for water), Burning sensation of the body (feeling hotness in palms & soles), Vertigo, Delusion.

Best used with

In case of Thyroid problems use with "Kanchnara Guggulu"

"Livrol Forte" in case of liver problem or weakness.
