Natural Herbal Menstrual Comfort Formula
Menstro Care is a combination of herbs that help in maintaining the normal flow of menses. It helps women cope with the discomfort and unpleasant feeling associated with their menstrual cycle, promotes physical and emotional comfort and helps with mood swings and sleeplessness.
Irregular scanty menstruation, primary and secondary Amenorrhea (except in congenital pathology), delayed puberty, dysmenorrhea, bleeding with foul smell during menstruation, Oligomenorrhea associated with thin and yellowish type of discharge.
Contra Indications: Pregnancy, Menorrhagia, Dys-functional uterine bleeding.
Menses is mentioned as "Artava" in Ayurveda. It is a periodical vaginal bleeding occurring in females between the age groups of 12-13 years to 50 years approximately. This period is the period of fertility in females. Any problem in this cyclic bleeding will hamper the fertility as well as the physical and psychological conditions of the lady. This Artava (menses) is also affected by different doshas (humors).According to Ayurveda, Vata (air), Pitta (fire), and Kapha (water) along with blood, play important roles in the etiopathogenesis of abnormality of menstrual blood.
Vata (Air) type: Menses vitiated by Vata (air) is red-black or dark in color. Thin, frothy and very small clots mixed with liquid come out. It is excreted slowly with piercingtype of pain.
Pitta (Fire) type: Menses is not of reddish color, smells like pus (foul smell), blood or putrid smell. The excretion is hot and associated with severe burning.
Kapha (Water) type: Menstrual blood vitiated by Kapha (water) is too thick, slippery or lubricous, unctuous and settles down if put in water.
Rakta (Blood) type: Ifartava (menses) is vitiated by blood, it smells like a dead body. Amount of bleeding is more and it is like fresh blood associated with heat and burning sensation.

Hing (Feaula asafoetida)- Used in Dysmenorrhea specially after delivery
Ajwain (Carum copticum)- Uterine stimulant, Vata pacifying agent and helps in normal flow of menstrual blood by relieving congestion in lower abdomen.
Karpas (Cotton tree) (Gossypium Herbaceum)- Uterine stimulant and uterine contractor cures post natal pyrexia(after delivery).
Bambo (Bambusa arundinacea)- Cures pelvic congestion, relieves painful menstruation.
Sowa (Anethum Sowa)- Relieves Dysmenorrhea, uterine infection after delivery.
Carrot (Daucus Carota)- Used in Primary Amenorrhea and delayed puberty.
Myrrh (Gum resin)- used in Oligomenorrhea and Dysmenorrhea, normalizes the aggravated vata.
Reduced iron-Purified - used in anemia, maintains the healthy hemoglobin.
Aloevera (Ghrit Kumari)- Increase uterine contraction and helpful in secondary Amenorrhea.
These herbs are recommended in Ayurveda, for maintaining the normal and Healthy flow of menses by relieving congestion in the lower abdomen. They help check pelvic congestion, relieve painful menstruation, decrease uterine infection after delivery, maintain healthy hemoglobin (useful for anemia) and check local congestion and inflammation.
These herbs are used in primary Amenorrhea and delayed puberty, Oligomenorrhea and dysmenorrhea. They normalize aggravated Vata (air) and increase uterine contraction. They are also helpful in secondary Amenorrhea.
If Vata (air) is predominant or Dysmenorrhea is severe then use it with "Femivita".
If Pitta (fire) is predominant, i.e., Menses rtava) associated with foul smell and burning sensation then use it with "Pearl Calcium" or "Netacid".
If Kapha (water) symptoms are predominant then e it with "Ashwagandha" and "Shatavari" and "Dashmula Kwath".
In general weakness use with "Femivita" (Female Health).
In excessive stress use with "True Calm" or "Stress Ease".
In Digestive upset before Menses use with "Digestive Care".
In excessive flatulence with indigestion use with "Gastro Care".
Note: Women using our other product "Femivita" should temporarily Stop taking Femivita seven days before menstruation begins and use only "Menstro Care". Resume Femivita once menstruation period stops.
Use 10 days before in case of Dysmenorrhea till the menstrual flow ceases.
For Oligomenorrhea use from the 6 th day of menstrual cycle.
Barley, cereals, unpolished rice, garlic, black gram/seeds, sowa (Indian dill), fish, jaggery (honey) and vinegar are beneficial. Milk and ghee should also be used.
