Hair loss (Alopecia) is described as "Khalitya" in Ayurveda. Hair loss (Alopecia) and baldness are mainly caused by nutritional deficiency, infection due to bacterial or fungal growth and hormonal disturbances. Heredity also plays a great role in these problems. Persons having genetic predispositions are at a higher risk. Long-term effect of stress, caused by daily tension and strain, triggers the problem, which involves uprooting of the hair, followed by blocking of "Romkupas" (Hair follicles) and thus preventing the growth of new hair.
All the three Doshas (humors) viz. Vata (air), Pitta (fire) and Kapha (water) along with blood are involved in the etiology of "Khalitya". Excessive use of incompatible foods, which may vitiate Vata (air), Pitta (fire), Kapha (water) and Rakta (blood), should be considered as the common causative factors for hair loss. According to the classical Ayurvedic literature, initially vitiated Vata (air) and Pitta (fire) approach the Romkupas (hair follicles) and uproot the hair followed by their blocking by Rakta (blood) and Kapha (water), thus preventing the growth of new hair and causing gradual loss of hair from the scalp. The persons having "Kha Vaigunya" (genetic predisposition) are at a higher risk of developing "Khalitya Roga". The conditions stated above simulate with hair loss (Alopecia) are mainly caused by the nutritional deficiency, infection (bacterial, fungal or protozoal) and male pattern of baldness, i.e. with the influence of androgens.
Men, Women & Children of all age groups can use Blossom hair oil every day, alternate days, twice a week or once a week according to the circumstances. It is best to use at night to stop hair fall, promote thick, long hair and for new hair growth. Numerous customers and practitioners have reported excellent results with Blossom hair oil. Signs of improvement can be seen after six weeks of usage. In some of the cases it may take longer, depending on the androgen levels, nutritional status, and disease affection and genetic factors. Based on the clinical trials with regular use of Blossom Hair oil, in women results appear to come faster as hair fall stops within a few weeks. Nonetheless, everyone should continue usage for at least 6 months.
Blossom Hair oil is totally free from any side effects or adverse reactions. Ultimate results depend upon general health conditions and heredity factors.
Take 10 to 15 drops of Blossom hair oil according to scalp area and apply on the scalp (Hair roots) with finger tips and massage gently.
No guaranteed period is given for quick results. However, with regular use, satisfactory and remarkable success rates have been observed in hair growth problems, including baldness.
A few persons may experience a slight hair fall after starting the use of Blossom Hair oil. This is because the weak hair follicles will fall out at first to help healthy hair to grow. It has already been mentioned that the "Khalitya Roga" (Alopecia) is the outcome of vitiation of Vata (air), Pitta (fire), Kapha (water), Rakta (blood)and pathological closing of the Romkupas (hair follicles). Therefore, the aim of these natural herbs was directed to counteract vitiated Doshas (humors) simultaneously with the use of use of Panchakarma techniques, viz. Snehana and Swedana to make Romkupas (hair follicles) patent). After the analysis of etiological factors, common causes of baldness seemed to be deficiency of nutritional supplements, infection and male pattern of baldness, i.e., due to the influence of hormones. The herbs, which are used for the treatment, were prepared in oil base for external application. To ensure better penetration of the herbs in the skin, Sesame Oil was selected because it is beneficial in skin diseases, while herbs for oral consumption were administered in powdered from.
"Sanksheptah Kriya Yoga Nidan Parivarjanam", i.e., prevention is better than cure. Thus, a person should avoid the factors which may vitiate Tridoshas (humors), viz. Vata (air), Pitta (fire) and Kapha (water), e.g., Chinta (anxiety), Udvega (tension) and Rusi (dandruff) vitiate Vata (air) Fried food, fast food, Krodha (anger), use of hot water and hair drier may vitiate Pitta (fire). Individuals having oily skin due to Kapha (water), may result in hair falling. Synthetic chemicals like (detergents) shampoos, fragrances, foaming solutions and certain drugs, e.g., oral contraceptives and anticancer drugs may cause the loss of hair. Certain diseases like Kushatha Roga (leprosy), Cancer, Typhoid abscess that prevails for a longer period and deficiency of nutritional substances, e.g. vitamins and minerals, may initiate the loss of hair also. So, if a person wants to have good hair, he should consider all the factors mentioned above and avoid the avoidable. These herbs also help in chronic hair loss (alopecia aerate). In conclusion, it can be said that the Ayurvedic indigenous herbs mentioned above are a simple, safe, feasible and effective regimen for the complaint of hair loss, i.e., "Khalitya Roga" (Alopecia).
