Habitat: This herb, which is an important Ayurvedic herb, is a tree found throughout the Indian forests and plains.
It is part of the triphala formula in ayurveda.
Action: Astringent, tonic, expectorant and laxative
Remedies For: Anthelmintic, antiseptic, expectorant, laxative, lithotriptic, rejuvenative, tonic.
